7.5 Tonne Driver and Warehouse Operative

Our client is a successful and well established local business looking to recruit a dependable and hardworking 7.5 Tonne Driver and Warehouse Operative. This is a varied, hands on role that combines driving responsibilities with warehouse duties, offering excellent working hours, an early finish every Friday, and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team.

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am to 3:00pm and Friday: 6:00am to 12:00pm
40 hours per week plus overtime paid at time and a half. Offering £14-16 per hour

Duties:

* Deliver goods safely and professionally using a 7.5 tonne vehicle.

* Plan delivery schedules alongside the Production Manager.

* Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.

* Ensure loads are secure before transportation.

* Complete all delivery paperwork and vehicle records accurately.

* Operate a counterbalance forklift when required.

* Assist with general warehouse duties when not completing deliveries.

* Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.

Experience:

* Valid 7.5 tonne driving licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

* Experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.

* Clean driving licence preferred.

* Reliable and organised with the ability to work independently.

* Good communication skills and attention to detail.

* Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.

* Counterbalance forklift licence desirable, although full training can be provided.
