School Cleaner
Shift Pattern - 3 hours per day
Pay - £11.44
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated cleaner on a temporary basis. This role will involve taking responsibility for ensuring that the premises are kept clean, tidy and sanitised to maintain an excellent environment for staff and pupils. The successful candidate will ensure that their work is carried out to the highest possible standard, monitoring and reporting on the condition of each area daily.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of cleaning
- Be hard working and adaptable to change
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Be able to use their initiative
- Flexible attitude to work and willingness to support colleagues
Main Responsibilities
- Be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your designated area and for maintaining high and consistent standards
- Take initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards
- Report cleaning supplies requirements and stock levels to the line manager
- Ensure Health & Safety, quality and general procedure compliance
- Some knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations as they relate to the operation of cleaning equipment and the dilution of cleaning materials
- Knowledge of COSSH and the safe use of chemicals
- Knowledge of cleaning best practises.
