Senior Management Accountant | Salford | High Growth Retail | Up to £55,000

Axon Moore are pleased to be yet again partnering with a leading Retail Business based in West Manchester looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join the team.

Responsibilities:

Management of two Junior part qualified Assistant Management Accountants Lead the production of the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis and commentaries Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process Ensure compliance with all financial regulations Work closely with the Financial Controller on the year end statutory accounts, audit and tax queries Review accounting processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the finance function Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth Assisting the Financial Controller and CFO on ad-hoc analysis such as business cases for investment decisions Support a strong learning culture within the team, helping to develop all finance colleagues by providing ad-hoc ‘on the job’ training Person Specification:

Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with proven Management Accounts experience Ability to thrive within a fast paced environment Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach The ability to create effective working relationships quickly Excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, look-ups and various formulae
