The role
Working as a Graduate Business and Account Executive you will join a successful integrated Client Services Team (CST) that is responsible for working with both internal teams and clients working to help people with substance misuse problems. You will develop and enhance the Marketing of the firm’s products and service offering, provide day-to-day relationship support for, and help retain, existing clients and support finding opportunities to win new revenue for from these clients. Work within the CST, you will become an effective member helping develop and grow the firm’s presence, market share and reputation.
Specifically you will act as and perform the following:
- Marketing Lead – become the marketing lead ensuring you develop and drive processes
- User Group – work with the firm’s teams to help plan and coordinate the annual User Group event, managing the attendees’ list and guest speakers and sending out invitations to client users. Prepare materials and resources and assist with developing the content for the event. Coordinate input from colleagues in other teams as required. Contribute to presenting at the event.
- Team work – work within the client services and support teams to participate in morning Scrums, work on client queries and team tasks to help build better solutions.
- Work with Account Managers, Development teams and Keyworkers ensuring that client queries are addressed.
- Create client case studies, news items, client testimonials and articles, working with other colleagues to send these out to the target audience. Create regular tweets of news items and sector trends and further the use of social media to support the Business and networking. Update colleagues on weekly trade news from regular review of magazines.
- Provide telephone support to clients to resolve ad hoc requests and queries.
- Interface with the Finance teams and ensure that teams and internal reports and processes are followed.
The requirements
Possessing a minimum Second Class degree in a Business, Marketing or related discipline, ideally from a Top 30 (or at the very least Top 50) UK university, you will illustrate commercial awareness. You could be a fresh graduate but preferably will have had a minimum of 12 months’ experience of working in Account Management, Business Development, Marketing Communications or sales roles (either as an industrial placement or gained post-graduation). Evidencing a bright and analytical mind you will be a strong and effective communicator with demonstrable success in building and managing customer or client relationships. Ideally you will possess a creative flare and an interest in Internet technologies with exposure to working with social media along with experience/interest in the health and social care sector
