Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in the centre of Bury. The school wish to appoint a team of Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their support department, on both full-time and part-time bases with immediate effect. The school wish to hear from Graduates of all specialisms, particularly English, Mathematics and Science.

This position will provide invaluable experience for all aspiring secondary teachers and recent Graduates.

* Full-time and part-time Graduates required for support roles within Bury, ASAP start.

* Covering lessons with pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher and supporting students.

* Working with teachers to develop activities and intervention schemes.

* Gain invaluable experience prior to starting PGCE/teacher training programme

* Earn up to £350 per week

In order to improve the support available to pupils across all subject areas, the school are seeking to appoint subject specialist Graduate Teaching Assistants to join the school at the earliest opportunity. All Graduate Teaching Assistant positions will be offered on a temporary basis, initially until the end of the academic year, with the potential to secure a fixed term position from September 2019 if desired.

**It is essential that the successful Graduates have some experience working with children and young people and are able to provide two references during the interview process.**

With 1,000 pupils on roll, the school is larger than average and due to this, there are plans in place to expand the school grounds to incorporate open learning areas in all core subjects.

Our partner secondary school is located in central Bury and can be accessed via the M66 motorway. Neighbouring areas Bolton, Rochdale and central Manchester have accessible routes to the school. For non drivers, there are a number of bus and tram routes from Manchester city centre and surrounding areas that provide a direct route to the school.
