About The Role

LCFC Women Football Club are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our catering team at the Women’s Training Ground. Our catering team provide food services to our players, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of food as well as the upkeep of the catering facilities in accordance with Health and Safety policy and food hygiene rules.

The catering assistant will work closely with the catering manager to plan menus ensuring these follow guidelines on nutrition and health eating, while supporting with the day to day tasks.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the following:

* Previous experience in a similar, fast paced, catering environment.

* Ability to prioritise and work under pressure dealing with tight timescales.

* Passion about food, nutrition and customer service.

* High standards and quality driven.

Do you have these essential requirements?:

* Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering.

* City and Guilds Hospitality and Catering Qualification Level 2 or above.

It would be desirable for you to have::

* Level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering.

* Food nutrition training

* First Aid Qualification

* Health & Safety Management Qualification

In May 2021, Leicester City Women’s Football Club has been promoted to the FA Women’s Super League. From its formation in 2004, the club was run on an amateur and semi-professional basis with support from Leicester City Football Club. In August 2020, the Club turned professional after being acquired by King Power International – Leicester City’s parent company – and realigned as a core team in Leicester City’s football operation.
