Prospero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school in Harwich, starting in June. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner to step into a well‑established team and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and progress. The school is looking for someone with strong classroom practice, effective behaviour management, and a genuine passion for supporting children at KS2.
📌 CONTRACT DETAILS
Location - Harwich
Position - Year 4 Primary Teacher
Type of work - Full class teaching
Start date - June
Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term
Full time/part‑time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - From £125 per day
Hours - School hours (approx. 8:30 am - 4:00 pm)
📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school (Year 4 experience desirable)
Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child‑related references
