Location: Horsforth, Leeds
Salary: £27,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (occasional early starts for deliveries)
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse & Site Operative to join a busy and growing business based in Horsforth, Leeds.
This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse — loading and unloading goods, managing stock, and supporting project teams with site set-ups and clear-downs.
It’s ideal for someone with solid warehouse or site experience who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and can be relied on to get the job done properly.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
* Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
* Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised at all times.
* Check deliveries against paperwork and update stock records accurately.
* Carry out regular stock counts and report shortages or damage.
* Maintain safe storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
Site Support & Deliveries
* Deliver materials and equipment to sites across Yorkshire in company vehicles.
* Assist with site set-ups — unloading, positioning equipment, and preparing materials.
* Support with site clearances and clean-ups, ensuring everything is left in good order.
* Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on-site as needed.
General Duties
* Take initiative during quieter periods — keeping the warehouse running smoothly and spotting ways to improve efficiency.
* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
* Communicate clearly with project teams and colleagues to ensure deliveries and collections run to schedule.
About You:
* Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or site-based role.
* Confident loading, unloading, and handling materials safely.
* Local to Horsforth or the surrounding Leeds area.
* Full UK driving licence (essential) — confident driving to and from sites.
* Reliable, hard-working, and practical — someone who can be trusted to take responsibility and work independently.
* Positive attitude, good attention to detail, and a team player.
The Offer:
