CREM Recruitment are recruiting a number of Warehouse Operatives based in Newmarket to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client is a well-established name within the logistics industry and offers excellent training and career progression.
Hours of work are 7 am – 5 pm 5 days from 7 including weekends.
Overtime is available during busy periods.
Duties will include:
* Loading and unloading containers
* Picking and packing orders
* Inspect products for any damage and promptly report discrepancies
* Maintain a tidy and well-organised work area
* Follow all health and safety procedures to prevent injury and ensure food safety standards are met
* Work closely with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
Skills and Experience required:
* Good eye for detail
* Physically fit and able to lift up to 25KG
* Previous experience in warehousing or manual handling roles preferred
* Comfortable working in cold environments (between 0°C and 5°C)
