About the Role:
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our parcel sorting team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring parcels are accurately sorted, loaded, and ready for dispatch to customers on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sorting parcels by postcode and destination.
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Scanning and labelling parcels using handheld devices.
* Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
* Following health & safety procedures at all times.
* Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Shift Details:
* Afternoon Shift: 16:00 start – £12.24 per hour.
* Night Shift: 00:30 start – £13.34 per hour.
* Saturday night work is required for night shift workers.
* Shifts typically last 8 hours, with breaks provided.
Requirements:
* Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is an advantage, but full training is provided.
* Physically fit – able to lift parcels up to 25kg.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work to a fast pace.
* Comfortable working in a busy environment.
* Must be available to work Saturdays if on the night shift.
