Minibus Driver (Part-Time)
Location: Winchester or Alton
Hours: Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week
Pay: £17.69 per hour (PAYE)
About the Role
Are you an experienced driver with a D1 licence and a passion for supporting your local community? We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate Minibus Driver to provide safe and comfortable transport for vulnerable adults.
Working split shifts (approx. 08:30-10:30 and 15:00-17:00) Monday to Friday, you’ll help service users travel to and from activities that support their wellbeing and independence. Full MIDAS and other relevant training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely transport vulnerable adults between designated pick-up and drop-off points
* Provide a supportive, person-centred service
* Operate the minibus and onboard equipment confidently and safely
* Build positive relationships with service users, families, carers and colleagues
* Promote independence, dignity, and respect at all times
What We’re Looking For
* A valid D1 category on your driving licence
* Understanding and empathy for the needs of vulnerable adults
* Patience, compassion and a calm, professional manner
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a wider support team
* A responsible and safety-conscious approach
