We're recruiting for a Divisional Director to lead a diverse portfolio of residential homes and nursing home services supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs.

This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for service quality, operational performance, financial sustainability and future growth across multiple services. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will help drive innovation, improve outcomes for the people supported and ensure services remain compliant, effective and financially strong.

You’ll provide leadership to Area Managers, Registered Managers and operational leaders, creating a culture focused on quality, accountability and continuous improvement.

The Divisional Director’s Key Responsibilities;

* Provide strategic and operational leadership across the charity's residential homes and nursing homes

* Drive high quality, person-centred service delivery and positive outcomes

* Ensure services consistently meet regulatory and compliance requirements

* Lead financial performance, occupancy growth and budget management

* Develop strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and key stakeholders

* Reduce agency usage and improve workforce stability

* Lead service improvement initiatives and operational change programmes

* Identify and manage operational risks across the service portfolio

* Support the development and delivery of organisational strategy

About You

To be considered, you'll need:

* Significant senior leadership experience within adult social care (in a role such as Regional Director, Divisional Director, Care Director, Operations Director)

* A proven track record of leading multiple services and delivering operational improvement

* Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budget management and performance accountability

* Experience working with regulators, commissioners and external stakeholders

* A strong understanding of services supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs

* A Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) together with ongoing professional development

* The ability to lead, influence and inspire teams across a large geographical area

This is a National role, so you’ll need a full driving licence and own vehicle and the ability to stay overnight occasionally. Many of the services in the Portfolio are in the South East, so this area would be a good base for the person taking up this position, but other services are in Wales, Hereford, Shropshire, South Coast and Head office is in the North East.
