GBR Recruitment are working exclusively with a general building company, recruiting for an experienced Construction Labourer to join their building team on an ongoing sub-contract basis (self-employed) working on projects across Lincoln City, Lincolnshire & some work in Nottinghamshire (most works within 1 hour commute of Lincoln, some further away).
This is a great opportunity to join a progressive building company, working on various construction projects such as renovations, refurbishments, kitchen & bathroom fit outs, extensions, HMO’s developments, general construction works & more, so no day is the same.
Projects range from £20K - £500K, mainly across residential works.
Duties:
* General labouring for carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers & other trades
* Carrying materials over to areas of work
* Collecting materials orders from building merchants / hardware stores
* General housekeeping tasks (sweeping up, washing down areas etc.)
* Helping to prepare surfaces / structures for works to be carried out
* General duties as instructed by the skilled trades
* Supporting various sites & delivering to various sites
* Mixing plaster, cement etc.
Attributes:
* General construction site (residential sites) labouring experience
* A full clean driving license to drive the van (van can be taken home)
* Must be over 25 years of age for van insurance purposes
* Some basic trade experience would be useful but not a must
