Are you a Caretaker looking for work in a school environment?
It is ADVANTAGEOUS that applicants have some school Caretaker experience and be proficient in ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and maintenance.
You MUST BE willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 8:00am & 4:30pm.
There will be full time and part time positions available throughout the school year and there may also be an opportunity to move to a permanent contract within the school you work at, although this is not guaranteed.
As a School Caretaker your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to:
« Ensuring the school premises, grounds and facilities are clean, safe and well-maintained
« Carry out minor repairs, maintenance and basic DIY tasks
« Open and lock up the school buildings, ensuring security systems are in place
« Monitor heating, lighting and energy use
« Support with setting up rooms and equipment for school events
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FULLY REGISTER WITH US INCLUDING PROVIDING RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH OBTAINING AN ENHANCED CHILD WORKFORCE DBS THAT WILL BE PROCESSED BY US BUT COME AT A COST OF £56 (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE).
