Hospitality Sous Chef, B&I, EC4 London £45k
Based at a law company in the City of London, the catering department provides an all-day food offer for approx. 350 people on site as well as high-end hospitality and fine dining.
As the Hospitality Sous Chef, you will
- Be part of the overall kitchen team of 5
- Produce high quality hospitality and fine dining food including breakfasts, canapés, buffets, bowl food, sandwich lunches
- Work alongside the Head Chef to develop menus and help lead the team
- Be involved with the staff dining as and when necessary
- Manage stock checks, ordering and all compliance
Working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 - 15:30, 40 hours per week (overtime paid)
You as our ideal candidate, would be
- At Hospitality Sous Chef level with a strong stable work history
- Experienced within corporate catering or B&I hospitality
- Able to cook using fresh ingredients and produce
- Attentive to presentation with an eye for details
- Genuinely passionate about food and ingredients
- Able to work within a team as well as on own using initiative
- Friendly and flexible with a positive can do attitude
- Organised as well as be adaptable and able to think on your feet.
