Occupational Therapist Adult Social Care local authority located in Walsall Pay Rate: Up to £35 UMB Contract: Full-time | Initial 3–6 months with potential for extension Local authority located in Wigan is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well structured team. The client offers flexible working, a fair caseload, and professional development. This role is ideal for candidates seeking impact-driven work in adult social care and reablement services. Main Duties: Experience required working with Adults Reviewing care packages and provision of moving and handling equipment. Complete Care Act assessments Assess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environment Recommend and coordinate equipment and adaptations Undertake manual handling assessments Work in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respectRequirements: Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience Previous experience as a community-based Occupational Therapist Manual handling expertise HCPC Registration Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist) Eligibility to work in the UK Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licenceBenefit
