About the Role
Essendon Golf Club is seeking a passionate and driven Chef de Partie to join our small, friendly team of four chefs — making you the fifth member of a close-knit, professional kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen who is looking to grow and develop within a supportive, well-established venue.
You’ll play a key role in preparing quality dishes for our members, guests, and large functions — from casual dining and buffets to three-course event meals.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes to a consistently high standard across all menus.

Assist with service for large functions, buffets, and events.

Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.

Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations.

Work efficiently under pressure and within a fast-paced environment.

Take responsibility for your section, ensuring organisation and accuracy.

Contribute ideas for menu development and specials.
