Graduate Structural Engineer – Residential Projects 📍 Location: Chesterfield / Hybrid 💰 Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE 🕒 Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM) 🌟 Benefits: 33 days holiday, company perks, pension scheme 🚗 Requirement: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is partnering with an award-winning consultancy to recruit a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Structural Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting residential developments while learning from a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and analysis of residential structures
Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and technical reports
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams
Visit project sites to support inspections and assessments
Ensure all work meets current codes and regulatory standards

Essential Criteria:

Degree or Master’s in Structural Engineering
Minimum 2 years' structural engineering experience within the UK
Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
Familiarity with concrete, steel, timber, masonry, foundations, and geotechnical design
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, Excel, Word, Tekla Tedds, and Masterseries
Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
