Guest reception and seating

Staff coordination

Order taking and delivery

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders to tables.
Quality control
Monitor the quality of food and beverages, ensuring they meet the established standards.
Address any issues or concerns with the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
Customer service
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
Anticipate and exceed guest expectations to enhance the overall dining experience.
Training and development
Train and mentor waitstaff on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills of the front-of-house team.
Shift management
Oversee the smooth operation of shifts, coordinating breaks and managing staff rotations.
Address any staffing issues or conflicts in a diplomatic and professional manner.
Upselling and promotions
Encourage upselling of menu items and beverages to enhance revenue.
Implement and promote special offers, promotions, or new menu items.
Billing and payment handling
Ensure accurate billing for guest orders, including any special requests or modifications.
Handle payments, provide receipts, and process any discounts or loyalty program benefits.
Maintaining ambiance
Monitor and maintain the ambiance of the dining area, ensuring cleanliness, proper lighting, and comfort.
Coordinate with housekeeping for immediate attention to any issues.
Wine and beverage knowledge
Demonstrate knowledge of the wine list and beverage offerings.
Assist guests with wine pairing and recommendations.
Handling guest complaints
Address guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
Implement service recovery measures to ensure guest satisfaction.
