Wellingborough £35,000 - £45,000pa, Full-Time, Permanent, Office-Based

We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our client based in Wellingborough, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills and a keen interest in numbers to take the next step in their career. You'll be working on management accounts, reconciliations, and other key financial tasks, helping to keep everything running smoothly.

Produce, review, and analyse monthly management accounts. Perform bank reconciliations. Manage and maintain fixed asset registers. Process purchase invoices and deal with any queries. Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances. Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) to create and improve reports. Help improve and streamline financial processes.

What We're Looking For

Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data. Experience producing and analysing management accounts. A good understanding of bank reconciliations and fixed assets. Someone who's detail-oriented and proactive when solving problems. A team player who can also work independently when needed.
