Position: Chef Manager
Salary: £28,000.00 - £30,000.00 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Rugby CV23 8YH
Hours: 37.5 hours
Shift Patterns: Generally Monday - Friday between the hours of 6.00am – 4.00pm.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Catering Manager in a blue-chip company for their distribution centres in the retail supermarket sector.
There may be occasional cover for sick leave/ holidays. The role is a hands on role and the successful candidate will have a supportive approach towards the team.
Key responsibilities: -

Management and control of all food production in the units

Consideration of all dietary requirements

Menus - completion, planning & promotions

Ordering of all aspects, storage, and stock control

Preparation of staff rotas and staffing during holidays

Develop & maintain excellent client and customer relationships

Delivery of all KPI’s

Management of a team of up to 25

Responsible for all H&S & legislative regulations in relation to food production and services

Management and control of all budgets
Candidate’s background: -
-
Experience in catering management, a passion for food and an eye for detail
-
Experienced chef in catering management
-
Strong leader & financially astute
-
Experience of catering for up to 500 staff each day at each site
-
Used to high volume catering
-
Experience of managing teams of up to 25
-
Good interpersonal skills with a positive outlook
