Assistant Accountant Central London (Hybrid Working – 2 Days in Office) £35,000 + Excellent Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic and expanding business in Central London. This is a hybrid role, offering a salary of circa £35,000, with excellent benefits. The position is ideal for candidates with accounting and bookkeeping experience, and you'll be part of a fast-paced team supporting multiple international offices. This is a full-time, permanent role that provides a great work-life balance.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the accounting function, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly and quarterly soft closing of accounts. Process journal entries and perform year-end closing of accounts. Own and maintain the Fixed Asset Register and manage inter-company transaction reconciliations. Liaise with external accountants for statutory filings, including VAT and other reports.

What Experience is Required

BSc/BA or equivalent qualification. Experience in basic/intermediate accounting functions. Familiarity with Xero and SAP Concur (desirable).

Salary & Benefits

Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum. Excellent benefits package, including hybrid working arrangements (2 days in office).
