Software Tooling Expert - Atlassian/Jira/Confluence/Python
Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a leading service provider to recruit an expert in Software Tooling specifically working with the Atlassian Suite of tools. You will have experience programming in Python and will work with the wider team to develop solutions and make improvements to the available tools.
The Responsibilities
Understand requirements, research options and agree on solutions to automate or improve internal processes using the tool-suite (JIRA, Confluence).
Support colleagues of varied technical level, on how-to-use the tools.
Organise internal knowledge sharing sessions.
Configure Atlassian Products - workflows, fields, permission schemes, plug-ins.
Script solutions with Python and SQL to extract, transform and display data.
Research tooling options and present potential benefits of adoption.
The Requirements
Proven experience as a JIRA Administrator.
Work experience with Python Development.
Basic Database concepts.
Creative and critical thinking.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Demonstrable work experience as a software developer, DevOps or Test Automation engineer is preferred.
