Exciting opportunity to join a growing business located in the centre of Southampton. A busy office with great scope for progression. Your role will be to operate across Business Development, Account Management and Service, nurturing new business relationships as well as maintaining existing ones.

Our client is a well-established innovative leader in the local market, and is looking for a new Trainee Graduate Sales Professional to join their existing team based in Central Southampton.

Due to a growing Customer Base they are looking to expand their existing team with these new positions.


As a Trainee Graduate Sales Professional your role responsibilities will include:

Customer Service

Responsible for meeting agreed customer service standards in all areas via key performance indicators (KPIs).Internal Sales

Responsible for meeting agreed sales targets set by the Line Manager.
Identify and develop new business leads, ensuring that you engage with all prospects and take responsibility for closing the sale wherever possible.
Supporting the Commercial Account Managers and Business Development Team in achieving its objectives through new business development.Account Management

Responsible for a portfolio of key existing customers, establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with the focus on business retention and growth of the account.
Identifying customer opportunities by up-selling the complete product & service portfolio.
Able to manage a sales opportunity through the complete sales cycle escalating to senior team members where necessary.CRM

Manage the CRM database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate opportunities and new business.Profile

To be successful in your application for Trainee Graduate Sales Professional, you should ideally have:

Experience in a Customer Service role - Sales experience not needed, but may be advantageous.
