High Adventure is one of the premier outdoor education centres in UK, providing 20 years of exemplary service to both schools, families and the wider public. Located close to Skipton on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, we are in a prime location to deliver an exciting outdoor adventure to our customers with a range of on & off-site activities on offer.
As part of our plans to grow and develop our already thriving business, we are currently looking to recruit a full time permanent sales and customer service executive. The primary aims are to deliver a high level of customer service, secure new and repeat bookings, and to maximise all sales opportunities working to agreed targets.

Job Title: Sales & Customer Relations Executive.
Contract/Hours: Full Time, permanent, Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm.
Package: £18,000 basic plus bonus package (£26k OTE).
Holidays: 30 days per year.

Job Summary
As part of our plans to maximise all opportunities within our thriving business, we’re looking for an outgoing, target driven sales person that is committed to delivering an excellent service to our customers and achieving company goals. The Sales & Customer Relations Executive plays a vital role within the High Adventure team, ensuring that customer expectations are met, bookings are managed efficiently & effectively, repeat bookings are secured and that all sales opportunities are maximized to ensure targets are achieved. Key responsibilities include:
·       Managing the customer booking process efficiently and effectively with the key aim to deliver customer expectations & retain business.
·       Securing repeat bookings, working to agreed targets.
·       Proactively following up all sales leads in accordance with sales procedures to ensure targets can be met.
·       Proactively contacting and managing relationships with groups who have enquired or previously travelled with High Adventure.
·       Meeting individual monthly and annual performance targets for revenue and bookings.
·       Using the CRM system to accurately log customer’s needs and communications as well as administrate the booking effectively.
·       Ensuring payments are collected in a timely manner, working closely with the Accounts Manager.
·       Establishing a rapport with potential customers and converting their interest into sales via telephone, email, and internet enquiries to ensure targets are achieved.
·       Provide excellent customer service through verbal and written communication.
·       Accurately entering all bookings onto the reservation system and issuing key booking documents.
·       Dealing confidently with a wide range of questions and concerns, enabling customers to make a booking with confidence.
·       Advising customers on the best holiday/trip for them, requiring knowledge of our Centre and products.
·       Keep customer records to date with relevant information and in compliance with GDPR

Maximise opportunities by securing repeat bookings and ensuring a high conversion rate for new business enquiries.

Deliver a high level of customer service that meets customer expectations & efficiently manage the booking process

Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure sales & marketing objectives are achieved.

Requirements

We’re looking for applicants who are excited to secure sales and are pro-active and tenacious in following up leads as well as someone who enjoys building and managing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have previous sales & customer experience, be organized, be proactive and capable of working independently, have good I.T. Literacy and administration skills, enjoy working to achieve targets & company goals. Knowledge and experience of the outdoor education/tourism industry would be greatly beneficial. This is an exciting role selling products that are lots of fun and working within a friendly team.

A key part of this role is to ensure we’re achieving our company sales & marketing objectives, with the aim to maximise all repeat & new business sales opportunities. This will be achieved through securing repeat bookings and achieving a high sales conversion rate for new business enquiries. With extra investment & focus going in to marketing, this an exciting time to join the team and we’re looking for someone that is sales & customer focused and motivated to hit & exceed targets.

High Adventure is committed to delivering exceptional customer service throughout the booking process and activity programme delivery. A fundamental part of this role is ensuring all customers receive a high level of customer service throughout the booking process which involves working with the team to ensure expectations can be met during the programme.

High Adventure’s aim is to grow new business significantly in the next few years, with a new sales & marketing plan in place and extra investment going in to ensure goals can be achieved. We’re looking for someone who is excited to be part of this journey and will work alongside the Marketing Manager to ensure every opportunity is maximized to its fullest potential . 

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full DBS check.
