We are looking for an Cyber Consultant / Arcsight Specialist to join our team based in Reading/Basingstoke . The Arcsight Specialist will be involved on several high-level projects, leading on the analysis and blocking of security threats. You will be creating custom Flex/Regx Connectors as well as creating and maintaining design and support documentation.

Due to the secure nature of the programme/role, you will need to hold the highest level of UK Security Clearance, or be eligible to go through National Security Vetting to obtain this clearance

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Cyber Consultant will be an Arcsight Specialist will be responsible for the following activities:
- Configure, maintain and support ArcSight SIEM toolset (ESM, SmartConnectors, Logger and ArcMC)
- Investigating/resolving issues with ArcSight SIEM toolset
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot filters for SmartConnectors and ESM
- Creating\supporting bespoke custom (Flex/Regx) Connectors

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Arcsight as well as any other SIEM tools. You will also have a good working knowledge of RHEL and Windows Operating systems. Experience with scripting such as VBScripts and Powershell would also be advantageous.
