Air Conditioning Engineer
A new Air Conditioning Installation Engineer is required for our client based in the South West.
The AC Engineer will be responsible for installing air conditioning equipment into a range of properties (both new builds & retro fitts). This will be at sites in the South West and the Air Con Engineer will be expected to work away at time (London, Southampton, etc).
The Air Conditioning Engineer should ideally have around 5-6 years (or above) experience and confident at installing equipment unsupervised & within a team
Duties -
- Review building plans and specifications
- Identify required tools, equipment and materials
- Install of Air Con unis (single, twin & multi splits & vrvf units) to the design specification, including associated mechanical and electronic components, pipework, ductwork, and cables
- Test systems and interconnecting pipework for leaks
Carry out work in accordance with the Company’s standards and policies, site safety rules, and current legislation.
To work in cooperation with other trades to ensure that all specifications, legislation and policies are met
Customers should be handled in a polite, efficient and professional manner
AC Installation Engineer Responsibilities -
The installation of AC units such as single, twin & multi splits and vrv/vrf units. Knowledge of BOTH 2 & the larger 3 pipe vrv/f systems is very beneficial!
Experience on the main manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba etc is needed!
As mentioned above there will be a requirement to work away during the week.
Qualifications
C&G OR NVQ Level 2 Award in Refrigeration and AC (Preferred)
C&G F-Gas 2079 OT CITB J11 Certificates (Essential!)
CSCS Skills Card
IPAF or PASMA
Salary -
The salary is negotiable upon knowledge & skills, but around the £28-32K mark, with overtime and a company vehicle. This is based on the 40hr week and there are good opportunties for overtime as well
