Job Purpose:
To process property claim invoices ensuring they are matched to the authorised costs recorded on purchase orders or approved by the relevant manager for the spend area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing property claim invoices for suppliers within the required SLAs, accurately and efficiently. Matching to PO whenever provided or obtaining approval.
* Resolve queries in a timely, polite and professional manner, whether dealing with external suppliers or internal departments.
* Refer any payment demands outside of scheduled payment runs to team supervisor.
* Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
* Any adhoc tasks as set by the Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager
Knowledge & Skills Required:
* Good communication skills, in particular excellent telephone manner
* Ability to work within a team environment.
* Attention to detail and ability to keep ordered records in this business critical process.
* Computer literate, especially strong Excel skills
* Ability to resolve large number of queries
* Ability to follow process and ensure conclusion of outstanding matters
* Able to work in a busy and often pressured environment
Experience required:
* Proven track record of Accounts Payable invoice processing
* Knowledge of Microsoft D365 (AX)
* Knowledge of the insurer and claims industry
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, to include English and Math’s
