Accounts Assistant
Provide Education is a leading Education Recruitment Agency specialising in placing Education supply staff into Schools and Education settings across the East Midlands, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and the North East regions.
Due to our continued success, and investment to support further growth, we are now excited to announce that we are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our central office function located in Barnsley.
Within the full 360 role your responsibilities will include:
* Credit control
* Accounts Payable
* Accounts Receivable
* Processing Petty Cash and Expenses
* Weekly payroll
* Time sheet collection
* Daily Banking
* Other ad-hoc admin duties
We are looking for:
An ambitious candidate who is self motivated and is driven to succeed, with a proven record of working within an accounts department. You must have a strong work ethic and be passionate with a ‘can do’ attitude to succeed. You should be efficient, organised and able to know how to prioritise a stretching work load in a fast paced environment. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential combined with Sage Accounting software or similar.

Pay, Rewards and Hours:
* Excellent basic salary (Starting salary negotiable DOE - £18,000-£22,000)
* Pension Plan
* We are able to offer 20-30 hours per week, term-time only flexible working (pro-rated pay)
* 25 days starting leave per year, with enhanced days after a qualifying period.
